Toyota recalls cars for steering and shifting issues
Toyota indicated in its recall that it was recalling 110,000 Camrys and SUVs because a circuit board that affects steering might have been damaged at the factory. In these cases, power steering could fail which would require the driver to increase the effort to steer, raising the risk of a crash.
As well, 2,500 RAV4 electric vehicles build between 2012 and 2014 are being recalled because software “can make the vehicles shift into neutral on their own.”
